Personal tax
Kelowna tax accountants for individuals and families
A personal return is only as good as the information behind it. Most missed refunds are not clever planning — they are a slip nobody asked for, or a receipt nobody knew was claimable.
Our Personal Tax Organizer is built to catch exactly that, and it is the fastest way to start with us.
What we look at on every personal file
Employment, pension, investment and self-employment income; RRSP contributions and HBP or LLP repayments; child care, moving and employment expenses; medical expenses, tuition, student loan interest and donations.
We also check the items people forget: pension income splitting with a spouse, principal residence dispositions, foreign property over $100,000 CAD requiring a T1135, and first-time home buyer and home accessibility credits.
If you have rental or self-employment income
Rental income belongs on a T776 and business income on a T2125. Both need an expense schedule to be worth anything, so we built one for each — the Real Estate Rental Schedule and the Self-Employment Schedule.
Commission employees have their own rules and their own schedule, and none of it is claimable without a signed T2200 from your employer.

Frequently asked
- What do I need to bring for my personal tax return?
- All income slips (T4, T4A, T5, T3, T4E, T5008 and so on), receipts for deductions and credits, your prior-year return if you are new to us, and a void cheque if you want your refund by direct deposit. Completing our Personal Tax Organizer produces this list for you.
